...

Happiness is so fleeting. It comes rarely and then we sink once again into a deep stinking morass of insecurity, depression, anger and doubt. Life is a constant struggle of keeping afloat for those rare breaths. We swim and struggle against the quicksand. We try to find the shore.
We try, we fight.
We lose.

I wonder what makes YOU say that of all people.
Nicely done. :)

Why would you think I wouldn't say it? :)
And thank you.

Is happiness really as rare as we think, or are we just too pig-headed and tragically bent to realise that it might lie within us? Just a thought, because I ask myself the question all the time.

I agree with the fact that everyone today, especially the youth seems to think it's in fashion to be depressed. Sometimes we may ignore happiness or fail to recognise it even though it's right there looking at us. It comes in different ways. It's a question I ask myself constantly.

Welcome to the league of realistic world, Lass. Happiness as an emotion is exagerrated.Every wants to pursue it and keep it for eternity but the very nature of happiness is orgasmic.Quite rational. Though it is constructed and those who know don't blame outside contrary to popular belief of placing the source of happiness outside. Keep exploring!
