My first poem..

Here is the very first poem I wrote...

THE RAIN

Silently she sat
As the rain poured from the sky
Mother Nature shed her tears
And suddenly
The rain stopped
Everything was clean and fresh
The leaves, the grass
Even the sky
Looked new and washed
The rain dripped off the leaves
And flowers raised their
Tiny colourful heads
She looked at the new world
And shed tears of her own...
